    Meet Shenita

    Shenita L Jones is a small town lady that grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma.   She is the middle child of four children.   She is a single parent of one son and grandmother of one gorgeous and intelligent granddaughter.  Ms. Jones has been destined to serve God ever since the womb. She speaks and teaches at different events throughout Oklahoma to women encouraging and empowering them.

    Ms. Jones graduated from Ardmore High School in 1989.  Ms. Jones has completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa; a Masters in Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from University of Phoenix; and a Masters in Art from Southern Nazarene University.

    Ms. Jones is the founder of Healing Hearts Counseling Service.   She has the desire to assist people with their mental health wellness along with the assistance of others with the same mission.   She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist in the state of Oklahoma.    She has an extensive background in health administration, business and information technology.   Prior to this career path, she was a Human Resources Director in the manufacturing and healthcare industry and a Database Administrator in the transportation, telephone, and banking industry.

    As an advocate for children all over Oklahoma, Ms. Jones’ passion is to assist them in becoming better people; and work with young ladies to help inspire them to become a servant to mankind, intelligent, and Godly women.   Shenita Jones is the founder of Restoring Lives, a registered 501 C (3) , non-profit organization whose mission is to heal and transform the mindsets of youth and families in historically oppressed communities through holistic health supports, life skills workshops, personal and academic mentorship, and multi-dimensional family support.

    Ms. Jones has been actively involved with the Ardmore community through her church at the Soup Kitchen and Youth department. Other community endeavors include: 2013 Leadership Greater Ardmore alumni, Woman2Woman Ministries; Miss Black Ardmore Scholarship Pageant; Good Shepherd Medical Clinic; and Children of Tomorrow Ministry Mentoring and Tutoring Program.
